In 1991 after a two year period working outside Australia, Jeremy accepted a corporate position as a tax adviser before eventually specialising in commercial litigation with Darvall McCutcheon, which later merged with Phillips Fox. He was appointed a Senior Associate at Darvall McCutcheon in 1992.

In addition to his under graduate degrees, Jeremy has undertaken and completed Post-Graduate studies in Corporate and Securities Law at the University of Melbourne and mediation electives at Bond University.

Jeremy has also been awarded accreditation by the Law Institute of Victoria as a Commercial Litigation Specialist.

Jeremy is a regular presenter on legal subjects to a variety of audiences.

Jeremy's practice includes:

1. commercial litigation, Australia wide
2. acting for corporations and individual directors and officers in claims against them by the ACCC
3. assisting nationally-listed companies with debt control and dispute resolution
4. litigating claims under the Trade Practices Act for companies and individuals
5. representing retail-centre owners in trade practices and property disputes
6. representing Singaporean and Chinese based businesses in business development and dispute resolution matters in Australia
7. assisting lenders in the enforcement of mortgages
8. acting for liquidators, administrators and receivers

Jeremy has also worked extensively as a legal adviser in the Middle East including the Islamic Republic of Iran, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
