For the next 3 years, she worked for the top tier firm of Eversheds in their Leeds office, specialising in Commercial Property and Finance where she managed property and lending portfolios for national clients, including Sky Television (B Sky B), Kuwait Petroleum, Bank of Scotland and Yorkshire Bank.
During a 12-month career break teaching sailing in the United States and travelling, she met her husband (who is Australian) before they moved back to Northern Ireland for 18 months where Jennifer enjoyed using her experience in property practice to work in a niche Commercial and Building Litigation firm in Belfast, mainly advising participants in the building, construction and design industry.
After moving to Melbourne, completing the required studies and a period of practice in Commercial Litigation, Jennifer was admitted to practice in Australia.
Jennifer commenced with Brand Partners in October 2007 and enjoys acting for corporations, businesses and individuals in VCAT, Magistrates Court, County Court, Supreme Court and Federal Court on:
Away from the office, Jennifer and her husband, Adam, enjoy going camping, walking their labrador, water-skiing, snow-boarding and gardening - anything in the great Australian outdoors!
