The Firm supports charitable and community organisations in numerous ways. Partners and staff are generous with their time and serve on the boards of community organisations including the Melbourne International Jazz Festival and PBS radio.
Pro Bono and Refugee law
Brand Partners, through its pro bono program, provides legal services to refugees on temporary protection visas and asylum seekers generally. We represent asylum seekers in appealing decisions at the Refugee Review Tribunal to the Federal Magistrates Court or Federal Court. In 2006, we are currently assisting three refugee clients in their appeals to the Federal Magistrates Court.
